Air Fryer Bruschetta with Prosciutto and Mozzarella, a fancy appetizer for every party and celebration. Baguette slices air fryed to a crunchy perfection, fresh mozzarella cheese with sun-dried tomatoes and delicious prosciutto, topped with fresh basil leaves and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar - the ideal finger food for a crowd.

Special occasions call for fancy food that spoils the taste buds and puts a big smile on everybody's faces. And my incredibly delicious air fryer bruschetta is sure to go down well even with the pickest eaters.
And if you want to impress dad this Father's Day with some posh finger foods, make sure to add these bites to the Father's Day Recipe Menu, they will not last long on the plate, they are so good!
But they are also great for any other celebration throughout the year, and the ingredients are readily-available at any large supermarket, so it shouldn't be hard to whip them up in no time.
Air fryer the baguette slices only takes 5 minutes, a lot quicker than baked them in the oven, and you get a wonderfully crispy base that will contrast beautifully with the softer texture of the other ingredients.
You can toast the baguette slices in the oven too, I used this method for my Tomato Bruchetta, although it does take longer in the oven.

Ingredients overview

- baguette - I sliced it on the thicker side
- mozarella cheese - I prefer the full-fat mozzarella, I think it has a lot more flavour than the lighter version
- sun-dried tomatoes - they work so well with the rest of the ingredients
- prosciutto - can be swapped for parma ham or any other cured meat. For a pescatarian version, you can use smoked salmon instead
- salt & pepper - to taste
- basil - to garnish
- olive oil - makes the bruschetta crispy and golden
- balsamic vinegar - adds a sweet-tart touch
Step-by-step photos and instructions
- slice the baguette and arrange the slices in an air fryer drawer
- drizzle olive oil over and season with salt and pepper
- air fry for 5 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (350 Fahrenheit)
- top each bread slice with mozzarella, prosciutto, a sun-dried tomato and basil
- drizzle balsamic vinegar over and enjoy

Expert tips
I prefer to flip the bread slices over half the way through so they can get an even golden colour and crispiness.
You can use any other bread slices, but the smaller the slices, the better visually-appealing, especially if you are serving these bites at a fancy party of gathering.
Prepare the bruschetta just before serving, so the bread slices can be nice and crispy, prepared too logn in advance, and they might become soggy.
