Whether you are trying to eat better or to diversify your weekly dinner menu, these glazed salmon fillets will really hit the spot nicely. They are incredibly easy to make, quick and absolutely delicious.
I do love salmon, cooked in endless ways, from air fryer salmon fillets with garlic herb butter, to salmon soup, salmon balls, salmon alfredo pasta or salmon nicoise salad. And that's just to name a few of our favourite salmon dinner dishes.
Glazing the salmon brings out the very best flavour and turns it into a divinely versatile and nutritious dish that everybody will ask for seconds. Plus, it's fancy enough to be served at special occasions - I would definitely add it to my Valentine's Day Dinner Menu.
The honey garlic soy glaze is sweet, sticky and spicy, bringing together the rich umami from the soy sauce, the natural sweetness from the honey, a nice kick of heat from the chilli flakes, and a deep, aromatic touch from the garlic.
And while the glaze pairs so nicely with the salmon fillets, you can certainly use it for chicken or pork too, be it chicken fillets, thighs, drumsticks, wings, pork chops, pork fillets and so much more.

Expert tips
Reducing the glaze to a sticky, thick consistency will ensure that it actually sticks to the salmon fillets, and it doesn't just slide off them straight away. Reduce it until the glaze coats the back of a spoon, stirring often will help avoid any lumps forming.
Pat dry the salmon fillets before seasoning with salt and pepper. Removing excess moisture will ensure a lovely golden crust, rather than steaming the fillets.
Avoid overcooking the salmon, if you cook it at a higher temperature, it's likely to be cooked in about 15 minutes, so do keep an eye on it. The thickness of the salmon will dictate the cooking time.
Serving suggestions
This glazed salmon will pairs beautifully with basmati rice, either plain or jasmine rice, sticky rice, couscous, bulgur wheat, mashed potatoes or pasta.
You can also serve it alongside edamame beans like we did, or with broccoli, spinach, mixed veggies or asparagus.
