Air Fryer Peaches with cinnamon, brown sugar and butter, and served with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream, a delicious and easy-to-make summer dessert for all ages. The peaches are juicy and sweet, with a gorgeous caramel hint, and the contrast hot and cold makes this dessert truly scrumptious.
Ripe and sweet and juicy peaches are such a delicious summer fruit. You can enjoy them as it is, or make a fantastic peach jam, or turn them into a finger-licking baked dessert. Or, enjoy them as a low-carb treat, either on the grill or in the air fryer.
The air fryer is such a great invention, isn't it? No need to turn on a massive oven or fire the grill just for a few peaches. The air fryer, on the other hand, is just perfect for such a job. I used my Tefal Air Fyer and the 8 peach halves fitted in with no problem.
We want the peaches cook just until they are have a lovely caramelized exterior, but they are still holding their shape nicely. Once they are out, the combo butter, cinnamon and brown sugar turns into a lovely caramel sauce which goes wonderfully well with the ice cream.
You can, of course, use any other ice cream of your choice, but I find that the good old vanilla ice cream work wonderfully well here. You can use a store-bought one, or make your own ice cream, my Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream is really easy to make.

Ingredients used
- peaches - I used 4 ripe and juicy peaches, unripe ones will not only be hard to cut in half and have the stone removed, but they will also not be as sweet and delicious
- brown sugar - I chose dark brown sugar, but light one should work too
- butter - unsalted butter works wonders here, it balances well the sweetness of the sugar
- cinnamon - just a pinch goes a long way
Easy swaps
Peaches can be swapped for apricots, nectarines or plums. While the nectarines and plums are a similar size to peaches, and their cooking time will not be much different, apricots are much smaller, so the air frying time will be reduced.
Cinnamon can be swapped for mixed spice, or pumpkin pie spice for a Fall touch. Or, you can add a pinch of ground nutmeg or cloves.
Step-by-Step Photos and Instructions
- Use a sharp knife to cut the peaches in half, then twist slightly to separate the 2 halves

Recipe FAQs
Absolutely, the peaches should work as well in the oven at the same temperature. Do keep an eye on them in case the baking time is slightly longer than in the air fryer.
Absolutely, they should work just fine. I would place them on the grill, let them grill on one side, flip them over then add the butter, cinnamon and sugar. Otherwise all the lovely sauce will be wasted then the peaches are flipped over.

The air fryer peaches are always best served straight away, the flavours are much more intense when they are hot right out of the air fryer, and together with the ice cream they make a match made in heaven.
