An indulgent no-churn ice cream made with condensed milk, this Chocolate Orange Ice Cream uses Terry's chocolate orange to create a fantastic frozen treat that will do down a treat all year round. It's extremely rich and scrumptious, with a wonderful orange aroma that comes through so nicely. So easy to make with only a handful of ingredients!
Even though for me the combo chocolate orange reminds me of Christmas straight away, a good ice cream can, of course, be savoured all year round, with Summer being the peak of the ice cream season.
No one can refuse a good old chocolate ice cream, but add some orange flavour to it, and you have a match made in heaven! And when we throw Terry's chocolate orange in the mix, you know it can't possibly get any better than that!
I admit that I do have a weakness for this chocolate, and you will find me knit many festive chocolate orange covers at Christmas, they are all just so cute! These are just a few of them, and I will knit many more for sure!
A no-churn ice cream is not only very convenient, as you don't need an ice cream maker, but it's actually as creamy and indulgent as an ice cream made the old-fashioned way.
Not to mention that you cut down on the making time considerably, no need to wait for the mixture to cool down, and also no need to keep stirring the ice cream for a creamier texture. That's a big win for me right there!

Expert tips
No churn ice creams made with condensed milk and cream and pretty much foolproof, there is very little that could go wrong. The amount of sweetened condensed milk used can vary according to one's taste buds, if you like it sweeter, feel free to add more.
Likewise, for a less sweet variation, add less sweetened condensed milk. Also bear in mind that the Terry's chocolate orange is pretty sweet as it is, so the ice cream will be on the sweet side anyway.
You don't need to use a whole Terry's chocolate orange for this ice cream, you can use as many segments as you like, it' up to you. I used 6 segments to grate in the ice cream, and 4 to decorate.
