  • 2 1/2 cups fresh plums (pitted and chopped, about 10-15 plums)
  • 1 1/2 cups apples (peeled, cored and chopped, about 4 apples)
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 175 g plain flour
  • 150 g butter
  • 50 g oats
  1. In a bow, mix the chopped plums, apples, cinnamon, half the amount of sugar and lemon juice from the lemon.

  2. Mix well and set aside.

  3. In another bowl, add the flour and butter cut into cubes, and use your hands to rub them together until they resemble breadcrumbs.

  4. Add the oats, the remaining sugar and lemon zest from the lemon, and mix well.

  5. Butter an oven-proof dish, arrange the fruit in a layer, then top with the flour mixture.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven at 190 degrees Celsius (375 Fahreneheit) for 45-60 minutes or until the top is golden.
