- 1 ripe mango
- 1 lemon
- ⅓ cup agave nectar (85 ml)
- 5 small mint leaves
- 3 cups cold water (750 ml)
Peel and chop the mango into chunks.
Add the chunks to a blender and blitz until smooth.
Add the mango puree to a jug together with the agave nectar, squeezed lemon juice and mint leaves and give everything a good stir.
Pour over the water and mix well to combine.
Serve with ice.
- Proper ripe mangoes turn into a really smooth puree, there is no need to pass it through a sieve for the lemonade, although fruit bits are usually pretty nice in a drink.
- The jug I used only took 3 cups of water, if you use a pitcher or a larger jug, just adjust the amount of ingredients used accordingly, otherwise they flavours won't be as strong.
