- 2 salmon fillets
- 3 tablespoon melted butter
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- ½ teaspoon coarse sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
Remove the skin off the salmon fillets by placing a sharp knife between the skin and the flesh, and slowly sliding the knife through.
Chop the salmon fillets into cubes.
To the melted butter add the finely chopped garlic, lemon juice and sesame seeds, and give it a good stir.
Pour the butter mixture over the salmon bites and toss well to coat.
Season them with salt and pepper, then arrange the salmon bites in an air fryer drawer, making sure they are in one single layer.
Air fryer at 200 degrees Celsius ( 390 Fahrenheit) for 7 minutes, shaking the drawer well half the way through.
Garnish them with freshly-chopped parsley.
- If you don't have an air fryer, you can also cook these salmon bites in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius (390 Fahrenheit) for 10-12 minutes, there is no need to turn the bites over during cooking.
- Alternatively, you can also pan-fry them over a medium heat, just make sure they go in a large enough frying pan so that they are in a single layer. They can break easily, so best to just shake the pan gently to ensure they cook on all sides.
