Cheese and Chive Scones

- 450 g self-raising flour
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 75 g butter, soft
- 1 cup grated white cheddar cheese
- ½ cup chopped chives
- 200 ml full-fat milk
- 2 eggs
In large bowl, sift the flour and baking powder and mix them well using a spatula.
Add the grated cheese and chopped chives and give it a good mix,
In a separate bowl, crack the eggs in, and use a fork to beat them well.
Pour them over the milk and mix again.
Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, and use your hands to knead everything into a dough.
Use a rolling pin to roll it to a thickness of about 2-3 cm or an inch.
Use round cookie cutter or a glass to cut out circles.
Bake in the preheated oven at 220 degrees Celsius (430 Fahrenheit) for 12 minutes or until golden.
Serve warm or cold with plenty of butter.
