Cheese Twists Recipe
Homemade Cheese Twists Recipe, or Cheese Straws, made from scratch with a few simple ingredients, deliciously golden and divinely cheesy tasting. The best party food for absolutely every occasion. No need to buy the ready-made ones, these cheese twists are the best! I used cheddar cheese and parmesan cheese for a distinct sharp kick, and they were gone so quickly.

- 150 g plain flour
- 75 g salted butter
- 1 egg
- 100 g grated cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon milk
In a bowl, sift the flour, add the butter and use your fingertips to rub them together until they resemble breadcrumbs.
Add the grated cheeses, egg and milk, and knead into a dough.
Chill for 15 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 Fahrenheit).
Use a rolling pin to roll the dough to a thickness of 1cm (½ inch).
Cut strips out of the dough, then twist them as you arrange them on the baking tray lined with non-stick paper.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
