Mincemeat Crumble

The easiest Christmas dessert to whip up, and a big favourite with the whole family.

INGREDIENTS: – apples –  mincemeat – butter – flour – oats – optional: sugar

Cut the butter into cubes, and add it to a pan set over a low heat

Melt the butter, then leave it to cool slightly

Butter an ovenproof dish, peel, core and chop the apples, and add them to the dish together with the mincemeat

Mix the apples and mincemeat well

In a bowl, add the cooled melted butter, oats and flour - plus sugar if used, then mix well to combine

Top the apples and mincemeat with the flour mixture, then bake until golden
