Valentine's Day SUGAR COOKIES

A delicious sweet treat to celebrate love.

INGREDIENTS: – butter – sugar – egg – plain flour – vanilla extract For the icing – icing sugar – milk – red food colouring – vanilla extract  – sprinkles

In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar

Add the egg and beat again

Sift in the flour and add the vanilla extract, and knead well into a dough

Roll the dough, and use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut hearts out of the dough, then bake

To make the icing, sift the icing sugar, and add the milk

Add the red food colouring, and mix well to get a smooth paste
