Turkey Patties

Turkey Patties made with ground turkey, broccoli and cheddar cheese, and baked to perfection in the oven until juicy and golden brown. These patties make the perfect appetizer for every occasion, and any meal of the day. Quick, easy, and so delicious!

Ingredients

  • 500 g ground turkey (turkey mince, 1 lb)
  • ½ broccoli head
  • 1 small onion
  • ½ cup grated cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Break the broccoli head into florets, and add them to a pan with salted water.
  • Boil for 4-5 minutes until the florets are tender.
  • Drain the water well, and chop the florets finely, then use for hands to squeeze any excess water.
  • In a large bowl, add all the ingredients and mix well.
  • Use your hands to shape 12 patties.
  • Line a regular baking tray with non-stick paper and spray it generously with cooking oil spray.
  • Arrange the patties and spray them too.
  • Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 Fahrenheit) for 25-20 minutes, turning them half the way through.
