Ingredients

  • 10 oreo biscuits/cookies
  • 1 bar white chocolate (150 g, 5 oz)
  • edible eyes for decorating
  • writing icing for decorating

Instructions

  • Break the chocolate into pieces and add it to a pan set over a pan of simmering water.
  • Leave to melt over a low to medium heat until it's smooth.
  • Dip a cookie at a time, and use a fork to coat it well on both sides.
  • Remove it and arrange on a tray lined with non-stick paper.
  • Repeat with the rest of the cookies.
  • Allow the chocolate to set completely, the use writing icing to drizzle it over the cookies, and decorate with edible eyes.

Notes

  • If you don't use writing icing, which helps the edible eyes stick to the cookies, and choose to use the eyes straight on the chocolate, make sure you stick them after they had been coated.
  • Once the chocolate sets, the eyes won't stick anymore. It might sound like an obvious thing to do, must things so happen.
  • The white chocolate can be replaced with either milk or dark chocolate, it all depends on the design you wish to achieve.
