Green Bean Bundles
Green Bean Bundles wrapped in delicious bacon, and drizzled with a fantastic soy sauce, brown sugar and butter sauce, the perfect appetizer for your Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. It's quick to make, but big on flavours, and a huge hit with everyone. If you like the classic green bean casserole, you will love these green bean parcels, they are absolutely amazing!

- 21 fresh green beans
- 7 smoked streaky bacon rashes (bacon strips)
- 1 tablespoon melted salted butter
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
Trim the green beans and rinse them with cold water.
Bring a pot of salted water to the boil, add the green beans and boil for 5 minutes or until just tender.
Drain the water, rinse them again with cold water, and set aside.
Arrange the bacon rashes on baking tray, and bake them in the preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius (390 Fahrenheit) for 5 minutes.
Wrap 3 green beans with a bacon rash, and carefully arrange the bundle on the baking tray.
Repeat with the remaining greens and bacon.
To make the sauce, mix the melted butter, soy sauce and sugar, and drizzle it all over the bundles.
Bake for a further 15 minutes or until the bacon is nice and crispy.
You can add more green beans to your bundles and secure them with a toothpick if necessary.
