Pumpkin-Shaped Rice Krispie Treats, some seriously delicious Halloween or Thanksgiving goodies that can be made in about 10 minutes or less. Super quick and easy, these snacks go down a treat with kids and grown-ups alike. The pumpkin rice krispie treats are vegetarian friendly, and are fun way to enjoy the Halloween party. Ingredients
  • 1 cup rice krispies
  • 100 g white chocolate (3.5 oz)
  • 30 g butter (1 oz)
  • 1 tbsp golden syrup (or honey)
  • 1 tsp orange food colouring
Instructions
  1. Break the chocolate into pieces, and cut the butter into cubes.

  2. Add them to a bowl set over a pan with simmering water.

  3. Leave to melt completely, then remove it from the heat, add the food colouring and golden syrup, and mix well.

  4. Add the rice krispies, and give it a good stir.

  5. Line a baking tray with foil or non-stick paper, and add about 2-3 teaspoons of the mixture to the pumpkin cookie cutter, pressing the mixture down well, then remove the cutter slowly to keep the mixture in place.

  6. Repeat with the remaining mixture, then refrigerate for at least one hour to firm up.
