  • 750 g lean ground beef 2 lbs (meat with 5% fat)
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp Italian herbs
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
  • 4 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp yellow mustard
  1. Peel and chop the onion finely.

  2. In a bowl, add the ground beef, chopped onion, parmesan, eggs, almond flour, herbs, salt and pepper, and mix well to combine.

  3. Line the slow cooker with kitchen foil, add the mince beef mixture and press it down well with the back of a spoon.

  4. In a small bowl, combine the tomato paste, sauce and mustard, and spread half of it over the meatloaf.

  5. Cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 4 hours.

  6. Once it's cooked, carefully remove it from the slow cooker by holding the edges of the kithcken foil well (there will be some of the liquid released by the meat), then spread the remaining sauce over.

  7. Serve hot or cold.
