Ingredients
  • 1 tin black beans (400 g)
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp olive oil for frying
Instructions
  1. Drain the liquid from the can of beans, then give a quick rinse and add them to a bowl together with the rest of the ingredients (except for oil).

  2. Blend everything together until you get a rough paste, then form 3 patties, and let them chill in the fridge for about 20 minutes so they can firm up.

  3. Add the oil to a pan or grill pan, and fry the burgers on both sides for about 2 minutes or so until lightly brown.

  4. Serve between a burger bun with tomatoes and salad of your choice.
