Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Juicy Fried Garlic Butter Steak Bites, amazingly tender that they simply melt in your mouth. Ready in just about 10 minutes or so, these steak bites make a fantastic quick and easy lunch or dinner. Serve them with a nice side dish, and you have a complete meal for the whole family. Mashed potatoes, greens, zucchini noodles, are just a few examples of what sides to enjoy, but anything goes. Tender beef bites, what a treat!

Ingredients

  • 2 steaks ( or about a pound of beef chunks)
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small cube butter (about 1 tablespoon)
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Make sure the steaks are at room temperature before dicing them into bite-size pieces (cut the steaks against the grain).
  • Season with salt and pepper, and set aside.
  • Heat one tablespoon of olive oil in a large frying pan, add half of the steak bites, and fry on both sides for 3-4 minutes or until cooked through (or as done as you like).
  • Repeat with the second batch of steak.
  • When all the bites are done, remove from the pan and set aside.
  • Melt the butter into the pan, add the garlic minced (or paste), and fry it gently for 10-20 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the bites back to the pan, give a good stir, and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

  • If you want perfectly tender steak or steak bites, remember to take the steak out of the fridge at least half an hour before you cook it. It cooks evenly if it's at room temperature, ensuring that the heat is distributed perfectly.
  • Never overcrowd the pan, we want each bite to be browned nicely. Depending on the size of your frying pan, you should be able to fry the bites in two batches.
