STEAK with peppercorn sauce

A fantastic recipe ready in well under 15 minutes

INGREDIENTS: – fillet steaks – butter – flour – beef broth – milk – peppercorns – salt –  vegetable oil

Het up the oil in a frying pan, season the steak with salt and pepper and fry

Depending how well done you like the steak fry for no more than 1-2 minutes

In the same pan, add the butter and allow it to melt

Add the flour to the melted butter

Whisk well to get a smooth paste

Pour in the milk and broth, and continue to whisk to until the sauce thickens

Add the crushed peppercorn and give it a good stir

Serve the steaks smothered in sauce, and with a good helping of mash and peas. Enjoy!
