Lemon Cream Horns with puff pastry and lemon custard filling, a super easy dessert to make at home.

INGREDIENTS: – puff pastry – milk – sugar – butter – flour – lemon extract – lemon – yellow food colouring – icing sugar for decorating

In a pan, pour in half of the milk and sugar, and leave to simmer for 2-3 minutes

Mix the remaining milk with the flour to get a lump-free mixture

Pour the flour mixture over the sugar mixture, add the lemon extract and zest, and whisk well

Continue to whisk until the mixture thickens into a cream

Remove the cream from the heat, add the butter and food colouring, and mix well

Leave the mixture to cool down completely

Use kitchen foil to make cones

Cut the puff pastry into strips

Fill each cone with cream, and dust with icing sugar. What a treat!
