How do you make strawberry jam crescent rolls?

It’s super simple!

  • Melt the butter and allow it to cool.

If you chose to melt the butter in the microwave, it’s better to set it for 30 seconds at the time, take it out, give it a good stir, and if necessary, set it for another 30 seconds.

Butter can easily burn in the microwave, so do keep an eye on it. Alternatively, it can be melted over a pan of simmering water, it takes longer, but it’s fail-proof.

  • sift the flour, add it to bowl, and add the melted butter, yogurt, salt and baking powder.
  • knead gently into a dough, then roll it and cut it into squares.
  • place about half a teaspoon of jam in the middle of each square, then fold it carefully, pressing gently so that they don’t open up during baking
  • bake in the pre-heated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (360 Fahrenheit) for about 30 minutes, or until golden.

And be very careful when you take them out of the oven, as they jam will be super hot!

Other than that, make yourself a cup of tea or coffee, get the remote and watch a good movie while enjoying these delicious rolls.
